Group Tour Policy
Smith’s Orchard Cider Mill is committed to providing an exceptional apple picking, and cider mill tours and fresh apple goods to the community! For over 40 years we have believed in sharing our working apple orchard and cider mill with the community while also protecting the environment of the orchard and maintaining the safety of our customers and staff. We strive to make all of our guests feel welcome and their visit enjoyable. Smith’s Orchard is handicapped accessible, we are committed to accommodating those with special needs, and specially trained tour guides are available on request. We look forward to you visiting our family owned and operated Orchard and Cider Mill and thank you in advance for your adherence to our policies and procedures enacted to ensure all have a wonderful visit while at Smith’s Orchard Cider Mill.
- All Tour Groups must email us at sales@smithsorchard.com prior to group arrival for a group tour time, complete the Group Information Form and legal release forms. Groups that do not contact Smith’s Orchard in advance or complete the required forms will not be accommodated.
- A flat rate cost is available for tour groups and will include apple picking, cider mill tour with cider sample (if mill is in operation during tour times) and apple products processed onsite.
· Tour Groups must email or phone ahead for a group tour time. Groups that do not contact Smith’s Orchard in advance will not be accommodated.All individuals under 16 must be supervised by an adult at ALL TIMES. Unsupervised children/students will be asked to leave the premises and the tour will be cancelled.
Educational Group
Please email us at sales@smithsorchard.com for educational group rate costs. If you are coming from a school (regardless of # of students) or group whose organization whose focus is on education, your group is considered an educational group. Educational groups are charged per the educational group rate cost (total individuals attending in the group).Small Group
If you are looking for a truly unique and individualized small group experience with 10-25 individuals participating, please email us at sales@smithsorchard.com for a small group tour date. We will also require a Group Information Form and legal release forms so we can tailor your orchard and mill experience.Large Group
If you have a large group, we can also accommodate you! Large Groups are 25 or more persons. Please email us at sales@smithsorchard.com for a small group tour date.
